Webinar 15: Digital Twin Center of Excellence Workshop

The Digital Twin & Grand Challenges workshop was held from 1-4pm at George Mason’s Campus and online, incorporating 21 participants from five different Mason schools and 13 different organizations. This session brought together a diverse group of researchers and professionals to explore the implications of digital twin technology. After viewing ten presentations, participants discussed the use cases of DTs and their ability to address Grand Challenges such as human health, climate change, and food security. Emphasis was placed on the importance of collaboration among government, industry, and academia stakeholders to drive continued innovation.

Looking ahead, a follow-up workshop will be conducted this summer to discuss computing support, big data fusion and replication, AI and physics-based modeling, as well as visualization and uncertainty.
